My wife bought 1 of these little monsters as a Christmas present for me. I pulled it out of the box, ignored the directions and flew it (flailed about about a foot and a half in the air actually) in the bedroom over the bed for about 3 minutes until the factory charge on the battery went flat. I then decided to read the directions though the battery charged. The instructions supplied are moderately 'encrypted' by loose translation, but answered a handful of queries.
I flew the machine a second time and had some concerns with rotor torque or anything causing it to spin without input from the remote. I created the adjustments listed in the instructions and the machine flew flawlessly soon after that. The potentiometer listed in the directions is a compact white surface mount variety on the forward suitable hand portion of the circuit board (searching from the rear). It helped to snip away portion of the plastic shield more than the board (I assume a radio freq. shield and mirror for the disco l.e.d. that flashes for the duration of flight) to reach it and I had to take away a beneficial deal of wax locking compound. A 1/2 turn down (correct) fixed the torque spin problem and all was properly in the globe.
My piloting capabilities and lack of great judgment have lead to a number of crashes and close to disasters. Totally free falls from seven to eight feet and impacts with just about every issue from tables and chairs to ceiling light fixtures have only yielded a bent skid and 1 blade change (blades are readily readily available and low cost about 6$ a set). Takes a although to find out to fly but immediately after a little pratice if is fun to play with my wife hates it simply because I fly it all over the property and crash it alot iv hit nearly every little thing in the home the heli takes a beating built fairly effectively I would recommend it to everyone I am going to order yet another one
