Consumer Reviews

I purchased a Black Air Shark KA-50 from a mall vendor and paid way also a lot compared to right here, but life goes on. I identified this to be a outstanding light weight heli.
I was a tiny miffed that there was no instruction manual, but having a lot of knowledge with R/C airplanes, such as gas engine kinds, I knew the basics. Opening the battery compartment on the Xmitter I inserted four AA batteries and found the Xmitter did not function. If I had instructions I would have observed to take out the battery tray and insert EIGHT of the AA's. Remember to plug the battery tray into the Xmitter.
Now with a operating Xmitter I was prepared to fly for the to begin with time. What was the Xmitter red flashing light for? I set all trims at mid point of their travel and turned on the heli. When I went throttle up nothing at all happened. AH HA. The Xmitter and Receiver in the heli want to sync. Now where are the directions at? Oh yeah, there wasn't any. So I tried what some other R/C aircraft and cars want, and that was complete throttle, hold for a single second, then throttle down. VIOLA!
Out of the box, this has to be 1 of the most stable R/C helis I have ever flown. If you are a novice flyer, pick a sizeable open location, and by massive I mean your two vehicle garage might possibly be the minimum. Immediately after a couple hours of practice you can attempt a smaller space, just be careful of expensive or antique knick knacks, simply because most wives will not fully grasp if you crash into those.
As with any R/C heli, look at the total rotor diameter tip to tip, and maintain the heli that significantly lower than ceiling or away from walls of any space you fly it in. Closer than that and the air flow around the rotors will suck the heli to the ceiling or pull it into the wall. Notice also that when the heli is that similar rotor diameter distance from the floor that it will float there on a cushion of its downdraft, it really is called ground impact.
Now go back and decide to buy 1 of these. The price here is about 40% less than I paid at the mall. He must have purchased a truck load of these from the Amazon seller and set up a booth there.
NOTE TO ALL: Do NOT ever charge a hot LiPol battery pack. Immediately after flying the battery will be hot. Permit to cool to room temp prior to charging. Charging a hot LiPol battery can have a range of outcomes in between burning the home down on one particular hand, to severely shortening the battery life on the other. Absolutely nothing fantastic comes of attempting to charge a hot LiPol. Go buy extra battery packs if you can't wait for it to cool.

THIS WILL BE MY 3RD POST ON THIS Site ON Three Completely different HELICOPTERS. I JUST WANT TO THANK ALL THE REVIEWERS FOR THIER INPUT. I AM NEW TO THE HOBBY JUST 6 MONTHS AND I AM Getting A Awesome TIME WITH IT AND WHAT I Purchased. THANKS TO YOUR INPUT. I just purchased a AIR SHARK KA-50 and WOW it is strong and entertaining to fly. In my opinion if it was not for practicing with the S107 and S032 which I personal both I would not be as fantastic and operator for the KA-50. It requires more trimming and controlling of the power for this model. But I adjusted especially swiftly on the initially flight since I KNEW WHAT TO DO. A beginner would not. I took my time got the feel for the controls and BAM I was in KID MODE FOR 15 minutes.
I am now house on leave and my grandson is loving the S107. YES I had it for over two months flying it and now he is flying it. No complications. Then he tried the S032. Yes I had it for two months also. I followed the pointers on cool off between flight times, flied them day-to-day for 2 months and they still function fine. Yes the flight time lacks by a handful of minutes but that is it. A brand new set of blades can aid with that. DURABILITY IS Awesome BUT THE OPERATOR Threat TAKING IS THE Element ON ALL THE MODELS I MENTIONED. NOW Presently Looking FOR THE Perfect Huge SIZE ELECTRIC OUTDOOR HELICOPTER.
The KA-50 is the Greatest Decide to buy BUT NOT A Newbie HELI, and also I advise the SYMA S023 APACHE. IT IS THE Exact same AS THE KA-50, SHORTER BUT I Think THEY Improved THE GYRO. If you are patience with studying the trimming elements of these two helicopters then yes I advocate as a beginner decide to purchase. But you are a great deal more prone to break them. I HATE BRAKING Things SO I TAKE MY TIME, AND I SAVE A LOT OF Money. Plus waiting for parts to get exactly where I am in IRAQ SUCKS, so I hope my evaluation helps.
Extra Information: Acquire spare battery for KA-50, S032 and S023 to involve blades. You will not regret it. Harm to blades effects flight performance. Our Helicopter Clubs meets each and every Monday and the most trendy 1 is the KA-50, and various Apache series models. Some greater then others. WE Advise THE SYMA SO23 APACHE AND KA-50 amongst the most beneficial mid size helicopters, S032 the second finest but not as potent. THANKS FOR YOUR TIME SFC FERNANDEZ BASRA IRAQ
