I bought this toy for my 10 year old daughter, and we loved it the to begin with few days. Finding out to fly it was difficult, but we at some point got the hang of it soon after a few bumps into walls and hard landings. My daughter picked it up considerably quicker than I did and was soon flying it on her own without having my aid and enjoyed it very a bit. But, on day three, immediately after a single flight that veered slightly into a wall, 1 of the rotors on my helicopter stopped operating. I tried to troubleshoot it myself with no results.
I emailed Cobra Toys client assistance explaining the problem and how we had been flying it and got a timely response telling me to check to make sure all of my gears lined up. They did, and every thing seemed to mesh together, but the motor just didn't seem to activate. I explained this to my consumer service rep. She said she necessary a copy of my receipt and a picture of the item to approach the warranty. I supplied all of this only to be told a handful of days later that the warranty did not cover crashes.
So, for my $60 we got about 3 days of top quality flying time. I like the product, but if standard flying causes breakage this easily, I cannot say that the item is worth it.

Helicopter was awesome enjoyable though it lasted... Would charge it up and fly about for about 10 minutes... Then let cool and charge it up once again. I employed the USB charger. Immediately after two weeks, went to turn it on... lights blink so battery is OK... but helicopter will not WAKE UP! New batteries in the control box too... So, I will be calling Cobra Toys for warranty... Will let you know how they respond...
