Customer Reviews
Wonderful little RC helicopter to fly indoors (does not work nicely outside).
LED lights are especially cool to watch.
You want a little coordination to use the remote when flying.
Attempting to control the UP/DOWN Left/Proper Forward/Reverse etc. at the exact same time is not as simple as I thought. After many practice flights, it becomes a lot easier and a lot of Enjoyable
If yours quit working, and the bottom blades cease spinning....
Don't THROW AWAY... its nevertheless beneficial.
The identical thing occurred to me, crashing into walls and objects, I thought all was lost, and the helicopter was "finished".
You just want to uncover the small gear that came off, mine was stuck under the nose piece.
The impact and torque from the crashes caused the small gear for the bottom set of blades "B", to slip off the shaft of the tiny motor, or mis-aligned from touching the Big sprocket gear. Take the helicopter apart, find the gear, and slip the small gear back into spot.
See Youtube video, this was certainly beneficial (search - "how to fix 339 helicopter").
Make confident you hold all the small screws in the right order and make positive everything is place back together the same way you took it apart.
Decent Luck and pleased flying!
I've only flown this 1 a couple of instances, but it seems particularly great. And I say this following getting attempted 7 other models. I like Viefly models because they are fairly durable, and do not tend to break quickly...getting that, they are lighter plastic units, but also simply because they appear to be built properly. And they are quick to manage. But they (like just about all plastic heli's) tend to shoot-up and hit the ceiling when initially launched after a 'full charge' mainly because they are so light weight. So, I decided to try this metal Viefly, and so far so superior. It does tend to hit the ceiling 'sometimes' upon take-off (just immediately after a complete charge), so I have to be just a little pre-emptive in de-throttling the controller just immediately after a full power take-off. But if I'm just a tiny careful, I can stay away from that...which I can not constantly prevent on most plastic models. And this unit's flight characteristics are nice, with great straight forward motion, and only a minimal desire to adjust the trim from time to time. But I'll report back later as I test it alot more, and let you know about durability and flight duration time. The best element is that it is not Over-RESPONSIVE (such as when given a slight command to turn it is nose 'a bit left'... it does not go 'way as well far' left, etc. like on other models...some even start off turning in a complete counterclockwise circle when given just a modest command to turn its nose 'left'). By the way, the webpage doesn't mention this, but it does come with a USB connector cord. As I stated, I'll report back even more as I fly it more, but so far its one of the most stable, durable units I've flown. I've had one more 1 which was even far more stable than this one, but that one particular was so poorly constructed, the gear that turns the lower rotor fell off the motor shaft with just one bump into my cushioend couch arm. So, I'd take durability over slightly superior flight characteristics anyday. At least, the unit will 'last' more than 1 day.
