The JXD heli flies just as nicely as the Syma 107's, plus it has flashing LED's that can be turned on/off with the remote on the left side button. And the proper side button controls acceleration (two speed tail rotor), so this will fly just as slow as a Syma 107, or you can hit the button and fly more rapidly!
This heli comes with spare rotor blades, spare connecting rod, spare tail rotor, AND 2 spare motor gears!
NOTE Have had this heli fall 60ft out of a tree still NO Damage. Speedy charge it was flying excellent once more.

I bought this helicopter a couple of weeks ago and I am pretty happy about it. It is considerably much better then other models I've seen in action. It is extremely sturdy - I hit the walls and my desk really a couple of instances while understanding to fly it but it did not trigger any damage and it flies as well as prior to.
It is incredibly stable in flight, I mean orientation-wise. It may have some vertical rotation but it can be trimmed away easily from the controller. Altitude control is incredibly sensitive and prone to pilot-induced oscillations although you are understanding how to fly but you get applied to it following handful of tries.
Battery life is decent - five to 10 min of flight with totally charged batteries. Big plus is ability to charge from a USB port. It can be charged from the controller as well, but I do not use it for the reason that it drains controller batteries particularly fast and the charge is not stable.
IR control link is pretty trustworthy. Initially I was hesitant about IR and wanted to get radio-controlled a single, but this IR is not quite sensitive to obstacles.
And LED lights are so cool! :)
IMHO, it is undoubtedly worth 40 bucks
