Ok, for starters, this is an INSIDE ONLY helicopter. Which is fine, considering the price tag of an outside copter is [...]-.
This helicopter has good characteristics as the lights flicker, and the spotlight on the bottom adds a fun effect and is also pretty beneficial when flying with the lights off. The stability, turns, and movement is really precise and works like a charm.
On the other hand, I will have to say that when you initial take off it is challenging to get it perfect. It is virtually impossible to take off from the carpet and / or floor. You want to take off from something elevated like a stool, step-stool, table, chair etc. This is mainly considering that when you put the throttle to go up, ( if you push it all the way to the top rated ) the helicopter flies up way to rapid and becomes unstable and unmanageable. If you go to slow, it tends to tip to one particular side or the order and with basically fail to launch due to the carpet.
You might possibly test what you like, but this toy is worth the order.
As far as durability goes, my four year old and 7 year crash it extra times than I can count and it runs terrific.
It does come with 1 set of additional rotor blades!

I was so excited when I bought this item...it came in the mail seriously rapid...I was in a position to get it charged rather effortlessly and inside a handful of hours I had it at operate and we had been playing with it. Difficulty is that just after 2 or 3 days...the item would no longer charge and when it did seem like it had a charge...the helicopter would only hover three or 4 inches above the ground. The controller was kinda poorly produced mainly because I noticed that I had to set it halfway inbetween settings in order to get the helicopter to recognize input. So for two or three days of fun...then weeks of searching at it on my table with regret...i'd say skip this item and go with something else.
